S&SE ASIAN UN New Member (November 2023)

According to the Constitution of South and Southeast Asian University Network, Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology(TAR  UMT) (Malaysia) has been accepted as the member of South and Southeast Asian University Network.

Introduction

TAR UMT traces its roots back to 1969 when it was established as Tunku Abdul  Rahman College(TAR  College) and subsequently Tunku Abdul Rahman University  College (TAR UC) in 2013. Its latest identity as TAR UMT is adopted following from the upgrade to university status in 2022.

Guided by our vision of Transforming the Future and mission of Providing Beyond    Education, we aim to become a renowned regional talent development hub that contributes towards the growth of the industries and socio-economic wellbeing of the communities in the region.

With its 171-acre Main Campus strategically located in the capital city of Kuala  Lumpur, Malaysia, TAR UMT has the distinct geographical advantage to connect with academia and industries across ASEAN and other parts of the world to synergise collaboration and research. We offer programmes ranging from Foundation,   diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels that are widely recognised by the academia and industries for their depth and breadth of scope and academic rigor. We offer more than 200 programmes covering a wide range of disciplines from accountancy, finance, business, economics to engineering, built environment, applied sciences, ICT as well as mass communication, creative arts, social science, and hospitality management.
