Warmest greetings from the Secretariat of South and Southeast Asian University Network and Yunnan University!

To enhance the communication and cooperation between member universities in China and South Asian countries, the Secretariat will hold the China-South Asia Youth Envoys Program from Oct 20 to Nov 2, 2025 in Yunnan, China.

The 14-day program will serve as a platform for young students and faculty members from China and South Asian countries to exchange knowledge, share insights, and develop a good friendship. The program includes lectures, discussions, workshops and visitations, and provides opportunities for participants to gain language skills, and acquire flexibility and open-mindedness with regard to cultural differences.  

In this regards, we are honored to invite youth from your prestigious university to join the program. Please kindly nominate no greater than 3 students/faculty members to participate. Please noted that young scholars, Ph.D students and graduate students have the priority of admission. On the basis of our cost-sharing principle, participants are expected to cover their round-trip airfares, while the host will provide meals, local transportation, accommodation and other hospitality arrangements(up to approximately 3,000 CNY).

It would be highly appreciated to receive your registration form by June 16, 2025. Thank you for your continuous support to the S&SE Asian UN and we look forward to welcoming you in Yunnan.
